So, according to AV watch’s one of the testers, this phone is most recommended for rock listener; not the earphone for every genre. Well, that’s a great news for me since, I usualy lisen rock.

Zizone, so the testers said that audio reproduction is colored not neutral?

Two testers said that MDR-EX700SL mid and low were more noticeable than the MDR-EX90SL, and MDR-EX90SL had more.. um sort of clean feeling.
Bottom line was that MDR-EX700SL the headphone for every music, but it is indeed nice headphone for the genre it is suited for, such as rock. So, not all around headphone but more like a specialized one.

oops i meant to say that it is not the headphone for every genre but indeed a great headphone for selected genre.

Ceres, I guess you can say MDR-EX90SL sounds more natural compared to MDR-EX700SL since, wit MDR-EX700SL the mid and low were more noticeable. But the review seemed to be relative to MDR-EX90SL than just reviewing MDR-700SL.

Well, I will get this headphone on the release date, and I will post what it sounds like.

I have them and they are more natural than the MDR EX90SL. They have perfect bass to me. The medium is organique and vivid, but the highs are considerably better than the EX90. In fact the EX90 sounds like crap against those new sonys.
