I just picked up a ceramic white psp in Japan back in May. Overall, the new PSP doesn’t really excite me…EXCEPT for the video out. I may have to pick up another one this fall.

this is cool, the reason I don like PSP is it is too bulky, gotta get this one!
PS i think it is sold at the same price as the previous ones

Man, those colors the Japanese market will get are sweet! Overall, I like the changes, especially the video out. Even though this one is thinner, the bulk issue with this currant design PSP is not solved. Really, except for a reduction in screen size. I dont know how this issue will ever be solved.

I agree with ryan apart from nicer looking and the UMD output, there isn’t anthing different.

That looks cool. I like the video-out thing so u can play and watch UMDs on your TV!

Beware to those ISO games and Homebrew-dependent gamers! This PSP-lite might be Sony’s trap in eliminating these forms of piracy. In other words, PSP-lite seems cheap (thinking of the upgrades and added features) but in the long run, it would get a lot from ur pocket as u buy its very expensive UMD’s. Unless, it’s firmware can be cracked again by some genius beings out there (I hope so..).

The hardware refresh is always welcome. As an owner of the original model, I don’t need this one. I know I can use the old extended battery on the new unit but that’s at the expense of comfort. I would have preferred an internal hard drive instead of a video out, I mean, that’s why I have a PS3: to watch my media in high definition. But I know for others this is a necessity so new features are always welcome.

i think old psp is betta , nicer to hold fits in ure hand betta.
also the only reason its lighter is because theyve taken the metal frame out of ithe new one. so if you drop it its more likely to break.
