Sydney Morning Herald Reviews NW-S705
The blokes at Sydney Morning Herald got hold of a NW-S705 and gave it 4 out of 5; not entirely sure what scale 1-5 could represent, whether it be stars or perhaps the number of times Sonicstage crashed on them, but hey, whose counting anyways? It’s a short review, but sums up the experience moderately well.

I think five would be the highest rating, and one would be the lowest. xD
QUOTE: the software is excellent
lol, I for one agree…. before I bought my NWS706 I read *a lot* about how rubbish SonicStage was. Having never used it before, when I did use it, I found no problems….. I’m obviously not alone!
I also agree, we need to get beyond calling SonicStage rubbish…that was years ago!!!
what? sorry u guys have u ever used a PC software where u can right-click everywhere before?
or it’s just me that was feeling like using a mobile rubbish java software everytime when i opened the SS?
The thing that I really like about sonicstage is the ability to both right click and left click on tracks. This gives you the flexibility of editing and playing tracks or albums. With each increment SonicStage gets better. I only wish that the add the support of unicodes. One really cool feature is when you add album art, the image can be any size since SonicStage automatically resizes it.
The most enduring feature of the S700 series is the noise canceling. You really never notice it until you turn it off. It is amazing that with the supplied headphone and noise canceling how much lower you can turn the volume to be able to enjoy your music.
Try cutting the grass with the NW-S700. ….Actually use a lawn mower and listen to the NW-S700 instead. You can really turn down down the volume and STILL hear the music. Sony are really on to something with this. But they need to make the most of it before Mr. Jobs adds it to the over rated ipod.
