The CPF-NW001 product looks to be almost a clone of the MDS-70 sold as a Sony Ericsson Walkman phone accessory. That product has good reviews for sound quality … the only thing that seems to have changed is the dock connector and the remote (to allow basic walkman control). One of the shortcomings of the MDS-70 (for me at least) was the inability to stop / skip songs on the phone with the remote.

It’s looking better and better, but… did we need *another* proprietary cable?
Of course, NONE of these are coming to the US. [sarcasm]Brilliant marketing! Let’s release a product with a propietary connector, and not release any accessories for it![/sarcasm] Sony USA have donkeys for their marketing team. Have Sony execs ever wondered why Apple is so succesful with its iPods?
The NW-S7 series is just amazing. The bundled earphones are the best i’ve ever seen with any similar product. They should’ve included jacks which makes the earphones compatible with any other stereo jack(nc excluded). And from what i last heard……buying the earphones separately is more expansive than the standalone unit itself. So ppl take care of the earphones.
Hallo,I happened to have formated my NW-S703F mp3 player and Now every time i try loading files in the player displays a message that there is no data available.I don’t have the software for running the player.

I was happy to see all these accessories for the new S61x series, but also concerned that most, as mentioned, won’t be coming to the US. The only case they have now is some rubberized case for it here, but the belt clip and armband would go a long way for active folks (gym goers, exercising outdoors…)
A lot of those docking stations look pretty sweet… one will hope Sony USA “gets it”. People here love to accessorize. Period.
